Osada Beauty Salon
This beauty salon consists of two interconnected stone buildings made of Shirakawa stone and is from the early Taisho era. Originally, the buildings were constructed for Ishizaki Shoten, a stone masonry company and, and built in the modern design popular in the Taisho era. Around 1956, these buildings were taken over by Osada Beauty Salon and still remains in this cityto tell a history.Shirakawa stone is called quartz andesite tuff in terms of science and is widely distributed throughout the Shirakawa region. Shirakawa stone is used in the stonewalls of the Komine Castle and as the foundation for many architectural structures.
